Arra started out as a new grad in ICU in 2017 and from the get-go, it was clear that she had the most potential. In only three short years, she has managed to train to take any kind of patient and is now one of our staple relief charge nurses at night.
Arra approaches everything with a calm demeanor and manages to keep her cool in the most stressful situations. She provides compassionate care while using an impressive ability to apply critical thinking skills and wisdom some of us nurses with more years under our belts could only wish to have.
Not only is she a phenomenal nurse, but she is also an all-around amazing human being. She gets along with everyone and finds ways to laugh, have fun, and promote morale with her bright personality even in the craziness of shifts. She is well respected and looked up to as a role model to her peers and newer nurses to inspire teamwork and quality care. It's been an honor to see her grow over these years and when I see she is on the schedule I feel comfortable in knowing her patients, and the unit as a whole will be taken care of in the best way. Arra truly is our MVP.
