I went into labor and Miss Nelly shined bright, being a true beacon of light going above and beyond bedside care and comfort.
During the last 14 hours of my 41-hour labor Miss Aranely Rivera was an angel sent for me in my darkest hours. Since I was 20 weeks pregnant, we knew our baby would not survive earth side. At 35 weeks 4 days I went into labor and Miss Nelly shined bright, being a true beacon of light going above and beyond bedside care and comfort. She made me the most comfortable doing endless tasks keeping me clean and comfy and tending to my every care and need physically, mentally, and emotionally. When it came down to her shift ending, I didn’t want her to leave but was too embarrassed to ask. To my surprise she stayed to continue loving and caring for us. I would not have made it through this without her. She deserves the utmost respect from all her peers. She answered every call and every wish I had and supported me through my tears and sobs. She went out of her way through so many hours showing strength and courage from me. We love her and will forever be thankful for her presence. She deserves the world.
