Angie brings a refreshing positive “can-do” attitude and really knows how to rally staff tighter and accomplish what often seems impossible.
Angie is an amazing nurse and is always an excellent role model. She leads by example. Her peers trust her and go to her as their number one resource (if she doesn’t know an answer, she will find out and follow up when she has one). Angie does a great job as our Supervisor; multi-tasking, staffing needs, patient/family concerns, and so much more. She is often seen assisting with call light needs while walking past/through a unit and even assisting with transporting beds and/or patients- no matter what the need is, she finds a way to help out her peers.

Angie understands the “big picture” of our health system and facilitates others to comprehend what matters most- our patients. She brings a refreshing positive “can-do” attitude and really knows how to rally staff tighter and accomplish what often seems impossible.

I so appreciate her, and I love to work beside her. I recently took care of a patient who came to my unit from ER, where she was for 40+ hours as a border. I received report from Angie- this patient was very thankful to be upstairs in a room but was understanding of the reason for the delay. When this patient was telling me how busy and loud it was, she paused and explained how amazing her Nurse Angie was- she went on to say “she knew her stuff and was so good to me. She seems like she could run that place!” I agreed with my patient and shared that Angie does “lead” us nurses most of the days she works, and that on that particular day, Angie was helping ER and working with their nurses. My patient's response…”Oh, I believe it, she is amazing!”
