Amy is the epitome of an Extraordinary Nurse Leader. She is compassionate, genuine, approachable, energetic, hardworking, organized, appreciative, knowledgeable, and resourceful just to name a few.
I have had the honor of working with Occupational Health during the pandemic. Prior to April, my interaction with this department was limited. I quickly came to realize that the responsibility of Occupational Health is immeasurable. As for most of us within this organization, our focus is to provide great care to our patients and families. It is the responsibility of this department to look out, protect, and provide great care for our employees. This positive team, professional atmosphere, and detailed employee attention are reflective of their leader, Amy Olson.
She is a perfect representation of our core values and mission statement. It is her strong leadership that promotes the positive, hardworking, and loyal employees within her department. Amy communicates with members of her team regularly as changes arise. She is incredibly insightful, culturally sensitive, and creates impactful strategies for our staff.
Amy's dedication to the nursing profession within our organization and surrounding community is unparalleled. Time spent with her makes you want to be a better person, work harder, and achieve a higher standard.
Amy, you are truly an asset to this organization, and your commitment and passion are inspiring. You have worked, worried, and carefully weighed each employee's situation for endless hours over the last six months. You have done so with such grace, energy, and eloquence, and have been an amazing role model and mentor. There are no words to describe the positive influence and hard work you and your department exhibit. Thank you for your endless energy and compassion for our staff.
From fellow colleagues to leaders across the organization, the same sentiments are shared by many. Congratulations, Amy. Thank you for all you do.
