Even though Alexa had a full load of patients she was very attentive.
I wrote this not based upon how Alexa treated me. I am easy and she was very attentive and ensured I had what I needed. I write this based on how I saw Alexa interact with my roommate.
He came with multiple issues, not very responsive to inquiries, etc. For three days I observed how the staff interacted with him 24 hours a day. Whereas most of the staff asked a question and moved on with his non-committal response, Alexa would not. Even though she had a full load of patients she was very attentive. She took the time to observe that he was not right and was having underlying issues that she wouldn't let slide. She continued to press him to answer. Then she pressed the red team to bring in a variety of specialists to look at what she was observing. It tuned out and he had several issues. Her attentiveness may have even prevented an issue when one team made an order that if administered with his underlying conditions could have hurt. She picked this up and pushed back. He was eventually transferred to a higher level of care. I believe through my observations this was because of her attention and /or he would have continued to suffer.
