Alana Zhu, RN

Alana was the primary nurse during my c-section, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to be with me during my delivery and throughout my recovery. Alana brought energy to the room that helped me not focus on my nerves, but on my excitement to meet my babies. When I started bleeding in the PACU, she was the first to notice and acted quickly. I remember hearing Alana call everyone back to the room to get me the care that I needed. I could have been scared during my recovery, but I can distinctly remember feeling calm and safe because I knew I had a great person taking care of me. Alana is a compassionate, patient, and kind person and nurse. When I kept getting sick after drinking water, having bad side effects from hemorrhage meds, and feeling embarrassed she made sure to not make me feel that way. When I look back on the best day of my life, I have Alana to thank for making it so special. I am very grateful to have had such an amazing person taking care of me and helping me meet my twins.
