"I am a student nurse that Sharon has been teaching on D6. I’ve witnessed several acts of “great” kindness on her part towards patient advocacy and teachings; as well as taking time to explain to me procedures and general nursing ethics. Today, I witnesses Sharon take time to call a patient’s husband because the patient was worried that he was at home alone and not well. She feared he had the flu and without her home to take care of him would be really bad off. Sharon called him, advised him to seek medical attention if he felt any worse. She always takes time to teach patients about using their incentives pyrometers, her assessments are top notch. As a student nurse, Sharon is everything I would aspire to be like."
