My mother, who is 85 years old, was brought to the hospital on September 24th through the ER. It was determined that she has gall stones. On Sept. 30th an ERCP was performed. On Oct. 1st her gall bladder was removed. On the morning of Oct. 2nd my mother's heart stopped. She coded. Because of the fact that we had talked about a DNR I was not sure what to do. I was here alone and it was my decision. I was very confused of what to do.

My sister and I had kind of connected with a nurse named Mollie. She was entering my mother's room when I needed to make my decision. I literally grabbed her and said, "Please help me, I don't know what to do!" Mollie talked to me and helped me make a decision.

At this time my mother is in ICU and still alive because of the help that Mollie gave me. She is our "Life Saver". Thanks to her for caring.
