Michelle was nominated by a patient who said:

Michele was my evening nurse on the 4th floor. I was just out of surgery and very overwhelmed. She was wonderful in getting everything done, organized and getting me calmed down.

In addition to my knee replacement surgery, I had a personal condition that she assisted with discretely and thoroughly, with no embarrassment to me. She checked on me often but was never disruptive and she met my every need. She made sure there weren't too many services checking on me at any one time and she offered me her own personal item when I mentioned I needed something the hospital didn't provide. She told me stories and soft humor at appropriate times to distract me from my pain.

After numerous visits to the hospital over 50 years, she is by far the best nurse I have met.
