Kenna is a shining example of a dedicated, compassionate nurse who is always willing to go the extra mile, not only for her patients and their families, but also for her co-workers and the department.
Kenna volunteered to take an isolation patient for continuity of care for the patient. Kenna remained in personal protective equipment in the room for hours providing support and education for the patient and family.
Kenna is dedicated to the department serving on several committees, assisting with staff education and the department schedule. She is a relief charge nurse. Kenna is a preceptor and mentor for staff in the department. She is always available to assist others, and exemplifies our service excellence model in all that she does.
