She walks in my room and I recognize experience. She knows everything! She also permits me to have a voice in my care. When she is around I feel like Mom’s home. I feel confident she is going to make sure nothing happens to me.

Julie is a wonderful person inside and out! She consistently shows a spirit of teamwork and her sense of humor brings real joy to her co-workers and he patients. Her laugh is one of those laughs that help set the tone on the unit.

I always hear positive feedback from Julie’s patients about how she makes them feel secure and safe, “she is professional”, “her laugh is infectious!” Julie makes her patients feel like they are the only one. This also is shown in how she relates to her co-workers. She is a great resource. She always asks others if they need help.

Julie is a great nurse to everyone she comes in contact with. She is a shining star to her fellow staff members and patients. Julie is a great team player and willing to help at all times. She is a great patient advocate. She shares her 20+ years of nursing experience with us. I love her personally and I know when me and her work together it is going to be a great day. She is a great asset to our nursing team.

Julie is a team player. She is always willing to help her co-workers but more importantly she cares compassionately for her patients. She is definitely her patients advocate and stands up for the when no one else, including some patients, will or can. She collaborates with all aspects of patient care to enable the best quality of care for her patients. Her experience and expertise her everyone (co-workers) deliver quality care and accurate care. She is patient and kind and always willing to teach. She is a book of knowledge.

Julie is always a great resource for other nurses. Helpful and considerate. We love her!!

Julie is just amazing; she is experienced but not burnt out, caring, compassionate and able to meet our patients where they are coming from no matter what. She is always willing to help by working extra, assisting those nurses who need to get caught up, and helps the PCA’s who need an extra pair of hands. She is an exceptional example of what nursing is and we are so lucky to have her everyday we see her name on the staff sheet is automatically better because we’re happy to have her here and making everyone’s life better!

I often work the same as Julie. Often, I just want bounce off what I think about the patient before calling the MD. Julie is always receptive. Also, she helps me whenever I need to do something new – a new med or dressing change etc. Julie also comes to my rescue whenever an IV goes bad and I can’t get it. She will try before anyone else can. She’s friendly and always fun to work with. I love her giggle.
