I want to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful care your staff provided during my Mom's stay in your unit. She transferred to your unit after fracturing her ribs from a fall at home and spending a week in acute care. My Mom is 83 years young and until recently was totally independent. Watching her health decline has not been easy for our family. We are doing all that we can to maintain a reasonable quality of life for her.
Julie was her nurse for three days, and she was absolutely awesome! Her high level of professionalism was immediately evident during our 1st telephone conversation when I called to check on my Mom. Her professionalism was onlysurpassed by her care, compassion, and competency. When I met her, Julie was friendly, focused, and engaged in every aspect of my mother's care. She did all that she could to make sure her needs were met. It was very evident that nursing was more than a job for Julie. She was able to freely exhibit care and concern for my Mom in a way that shows her commitment and desire to enhance the lives of her patients and their families while they are in her care.
Julie embodies all of the qualities that are essential for patient-centered care. Your patients and their families will benefit from having her touch their lives.
