Jennifer was working in our triage area when a young mother arrived with complaints of ruptured membranes. On examination Jennifer discovered more than usual vaginal bleeding and sounded the alarm for an emergency C-section. She rallied the patients doctor, anesthesia, L&D nurses, and special care nurses into the nearest OR and helped deliver a child with 8 & 9 apgars, even though, at delivery it was discovered that the placenta was 95% erupted!

Jennifer's quick assessment and actions saved the baby and maybe the mother as well! It was all done with such professionalism that the family wasn't even aware of the potential danger until it was all over! Walking in the door to delivery took less than one hour and Jennifer pulled it all together! Yeah Jennifer!
