Our daughter C was admitted to ICU. Having been a liver transplant patient and when the wound did not heal as hoped, C had a more extensive and extremely painful procedure done. As she became conscious from sedation, my daughter began to have nightmare hallucinations of pain. Glen was very thorough in assessing the status of her nightmares and accommodated her every need. In a quiet and gentle way, he communicated with her directly by asking questions and explaining every procedure. C responded to this treatment in a positive way. When my daughter was only able to whisper, Glen whispered back. There was no need to push the call button because he was regularly and quietly there checking her lines, meds and supplies. I witnessed his dedication to my daughter and other patients alike. As her mother, I appreciated his gentleness and everything he did for my daughter and it gave me such comfort to know she was special to him. Thank you so much.
