In every way every day, Ann Kellogg exhibits exemplary professionalism, knowledge, skill and compassion.
Recently Ann and her colleagues were in their cars leaving the SEH parking lot after work, Ann noticed an elderly woman in a wheelchair attempting to cross a busy street by pedaling her feet, immediately Ann left her car and proceeded to push the woman in her wheelchair all the way to the hospital.
Ann is committed to teamwork, one day Ann was requested to stay and be available for an urgent, crash c-section. The mother admitted to heroin addiction, was in premature labor and the baby was showing signs of distress. At delivery, the child was compromised, lethargic and clearly in respiratory distress. Being very experienced and skilled in neonatal resuscitation, Ann gladly stood by prepared to assist. Her presence in the operating room was calming and reassuring to everyone there who were grateful and appreciative of Ann during that difficult time. The newborn thrived after prompt attention.
Ann Kellogg is an amazing resource and an exceptional asset to St. Elizabeth Hospital and the community. We benefit from Ann’s abilities and commitment and are privileged to have her gifts available to our patients and members of the community.
