CNAI (Italian Nurses Association)

The Consociazione Nazionale Associazioni Infermiere/i (CNAI) was founded in 1946 (previously named ANITI from 1919) as generalist Italian National Nurses Association with the aim to enhance nurse's status, promote professional culture development and improve quality of nursing care in Italy.
CNAI is an independent, no-profit and non-governmental body and is officially affiliated to International Council of Nurses (ICN), European Federation of Nurses Association, European Forum of Nurses and Midwifery Association – WHO, and other international networks as the only Italian representative.
