Lynn was nominated by faculty and peers for many reasons. Lynn exhibits a thoughtfulness in all of her actions. She is described as a student that provides consistent, compassionate care in all of her interactions with patients, peers, and even with faculty. She demonstrates genuine caring by reaching out when she is aware that someone has a struggle or need and by being fully present in those moments. Lynn opitomizes the concept of a team player. Even as early as Fundamentals, Lynn would constantly seek out opportunities to help others on the unit. Lynn's thoughtfulness, presence, compassion, and exemplary clinical practice as a student are the reasons why she is being honored with this award.
