Please accept my enthusiastic recommendation of DNP FNP student Luke Creasman RN, MSN for the 2016 Beta Gamma STTI DAISY In Training award. He is a perfect candidate for this award because of his commitment to the delivery of compassionate nursing care, academic excellence and interprofessional practice. Luke is a currently practicing ICU RN at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital (STCH). He has also worked in the emergency department and PCU/telemetry at STCH.
Luke is a DNP student in the FNP tract. His career goal is to serve the community through the provision of the highest quality, compassionate primary care services. Luke has demonstrated the highest standard of academic excellence in his course work. In addition, his clinical preceptors have consistently noted both his clinical excellence and his compassionate, patient-centered care. Luke is completing a DNP project connecting dental students from the University of the Pacific with nurse practitioner students at the University of San Francisco for interprofessional clinical training experiences.
Luke fully embodies the importance of compassionate, patient-centered communication to the delivery of quality health care. He is also a Second lieutenant in the United States Air Force Nurse Corps. After graduation he will aptly represent the USF mission, vision and values as a DNP, FNP in the United States Air Force. He is most deserving of a DAISY In-Training salute!
