Yvonne receives numerous thank you letters from her patients for giving excellent, compassionate nursing care. The following is an example that came attached to roses from one of her patients:

"We don't know where to begin to thank you we couldn't have done it (delivered) without you. You were our labor angel. Thank you for being wonderful, amazing, patient and encouraging while keeping us safe and following our birth plan."

The words of the patient are true, Yvonne is an outstanding labor nurse who shares her compassion with her peers, students in the WIS department, her clinical students, and new RN's that she precepts. Yvonne listens to her patients with her heart and does her best to meet their needs by providing the experience that the patient requested and developed through her birth plan. These patients will remember their birth experience for the rest of their life.
