Yolene Paul-Blanc is an angel on earth. I feel extremely blessed that she cared for my father in his final days. The love and compassion she showed him will last in my heart forever. Even in his final hours, she was a gift from God. The night before my dad passed, Yolene bathed him, gave him fresh sheets, put lotion on him and tucked him into rest the night peacefully. She did this with my mom by her side giving her the chance to love and care for her husband one last time. I believe that love and compassion truly helped my dad rest in comfort peacefully throughout that night.
This is just one of many times Yolene showed heartfelt compassion for my dad. She also was a blessing to the rest of our family. She always treated us with kindness and was able to provide us comfort in only a way a true angel could.
Sending these words feels so small in comparison to what she did for my dad and my family. I can only hope that it will reinforce to Community North what an invaluable and amazing nurse they have the fortune of having on their staff.
