I have been in and out of Women's Care over the last few months with my last admission being for 6 weeks until my daughter was born. I don't know what I would have done without this group of nurses. During an incredibly stressful time in our lives, they helped to keep me heartened and sane. I spent the majority of my admission alone and they always came in to visit, tell me the best shows to watch, news in the outside world and kept track of my walking laps. They were there during procedures to hold my hand (midline IV), and Jess stopped in the night after I got out of surgery and stayed late after her shift to just check on me. From Jade and Heather waking me up to say good luck to Cammy walking me to the NICU on discharge day, all of these nurses went above and beyond for my care. They became like family and still come to the NICU to check on me and my daughter. This group doesn't know how much they mean to our family and how much they have become a part of our lives. It will be weird to go home and not be woken up by them each morning. I am so grateful for all of them!
