I first came to the Heart Center approximately 2 ½ yrs. ago and I admit I was apprehensive about it, but the minute I met Wendy she made me feel welcome and comfortable with her charming smile and infectious laugh. Wendy is always there to help when I am having a problem. I think Wendy is a truly fine nurse and an exceptional person.

After having two stents inserted into my circulatory system, I was encouraged to begin a follow-up program of physical therapy. After a very informative introduction to the program, I began my regular three days a week routine. It was at this point that I was introduced to Wendy as my "handler".
Through all of my exercises, she informed me as to the functions and proper use of all the equipment I would be using. As I gained confidence in the exercises, I began to realize that Wendy's involvement in the program was much more than just a job for her. She demonstrated a unique ability to instruct, explain, and monitor every exercise session and did so in a very professional as well as friendly, personable manner.
Wendy is the total package; knowledgeable, professional with a deep desire to help her patients in a personable and caring manner. From one who is still under her care, I can say that in stressful times like these, having a Wendy overseeing your progress is extremely comforting.

Wendy has been so helpful and supportive in my cardiac rehab. I had a heart attack while on vacation. I had never had any problems prior to this incident, and it happened on a weekend so I didn't have a cardiologist and had limited time learning about my condition while in the hospital. Wendy has gone out of her way to educate me, help me in my rehab, and preparing me with questions to ask when I see a cardiologist. Wendy is always cheerful, encouraging, and helpful in every way. I feel blessed to have this facility in Branson and this excellent staff to help me deal with my new health issues.
