I was admitted on 8/13/13 with MRSA in the lungs and pneumonia the same day my father-in -law passed away. I felt bad not being able to be with my wife and family. My wife was worried sick about me and wasn't able to stay with me. Wendy was my nurse and she told my wife she would take care of me as if I were her family. She asked my wife not to worry.

After the first 12 hours of Wendy taking care of me I told my wife I was in the hands of an angel. She would go above and beyond to cheer me up. She brought me treats and happy's. It seemed she would bring me what I needed before I had a chance to ask for it, meds, pain pill, O2, etc.

I was sick with fever of 103.9 and I felt awful but Wendy could manage to put a smile on my face. Wendy was my angel in blue with a smile always. I was treated like royalty and Wendy being there kept my wife from worrying about me. She would talk with my wife on the phone to keep her up to date.

I just can't say enough about Wendy. She is awesome! She prayed with me and for me and my wife. We will always be grateful for her. We will also keep in touch with her as she gave my wife her number.

My angel in blue..
