Veena was with my son since they brought him into the ICU after he had a heart attack. They worked on him in the PCU unit for an hour and used the paddles nine times, so it was crucial he get excellent attention and care in the hours after the event.
Veena did just that. She only sat sometimes to log report into the computer. She was moving constantly, checking his vital signs, drawing blood, giving medicine by the IV bags- and I'm sure so many other things that have now become just a blur to me, being so upset and emotional. I have a different respect for nurses now, and Veena in particular.
God puts Angels on earth in the form of nurses. Veena truly is a blessing to this hospital and to our family; if it wasn't for her, I'm sure my son would not have made it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
