1st Nomination: My husband and family want to say THANK YOU to all people who have my husband good care. RNs Michael & Jelly and CNA Jessica; but we'd like to give special thanks to Travis. He's the best RN on the 4th floor. He's caring person, he likes his work, checking every time, a hard worker, and always a smiling face. God bless you, Travis, and your family.

2nd Nomination: In all the years I have visited the hospital, I have never come across an individual as caring and considerate as Travis. Even when something wasn't his responsibility, he went above and beyond his normal duties and expectations to ensure the patient got the best care and hospitality. Travis was incredibly attentive, and he made sure the room was efficiently sanitized, all while giving my mother her thorough treatment. He was even attentive toward me by ensuring my comfort and giving me pillows and blankets too. He's truly a remarkable nurse, and I can complement his good deeds forever, but it will not do him justice. Travis deserves all the recognition he can get. I strongly believe that Management needs to be aware of his dedication and love and respect toward patients.

Sofia Ghssoub, STU Nurse Manager shared that Travis demonstrates high commitment to providing excellent care. He is always at his patient's bedside, addresses all their needs, doesn't wait for a CNA to clean his patients; he does it himself. He is the first and fastest to respond to bed alarms "no patient should fall on his watch."

Travis is very caring. Language is never a barrier for him; he reaches out to his non-English speaking patients with his warm smile and comforting body language.

His patients know him by name, and remember his name after they go home.

In my leader rounds one day, a patient's wife asked me to honor Travis with a medal for his hard work, efficient nursing care and positive attitude.

As another note from our patient said, "May we have more Travis' I say Amen, for nurses like him make all the difference in our patient experience of excellence."
