Tiffany helped me "hold it together" through the worst time of my life as I recently faced breast cancer. The chaos this created for me in having to make scheduling changes, and continue to try my best to care for my patients was only matched by the emotional toll this played on my mind.

Day after day Tiffany found little and big ways to "care" for me so I could continue to care for others. Through cards, gifts, and words of encouragement, she really helped me heal. Not to mention the fantastic job she did managing the necessary schedule changes, and making sure nothing was overlooked at the office during the times I had to be away for surgeries, doctor's appointments, and so-forth.

Tiffany offered true leadership and friendship in a time of need. She was the perfect co-worker, made sure things were taken care of for each patient. I didn't have to worry about a thing. She adjusted patient schedules immediately, making sure their medical needs were addressed. On a more personal note, she boosted my mood every day. She made me smile, allowed me time to grieve and to be upset. She seemed to know what I needed even before I realized it.

Tiffany purchased a necklace with the breast cancer symbol to showcase her support. She showered me with little gifts including a Starbucks gift card, homemade gifts, and coordinated donations at FMC for gas cards. Everyone was so helpful and I appreciate it so much. Tiffany is the one that held us together.

Tiffany did these things with such excellence because she cares about our patients. When a nurse shows this kind of compassion for others, while giving skilled, competent care, I believe she is very deserving of The DAISY Award.
