I want to thank you again for the help last night with O when she came into the CED. Our nurse, Terese was amazing. She was so calm and gentle with O. She sat on the bed and explained everything to O in terms that a 4-year-old can understand, all while holding her hand and telling her how brave she was being. I could tell Terese was really putting her heart into being there with her. While O was being stitched by Dr. S, Terese held O's head and talked calmly to her. Even though in the moment it seemed like total chaos, Terese's calm voice reassuring O seemed to make her feel better. When everything was finished Terese came back in and took the time to sit on the bed with me and my wife and explain everything we needed to do to care for O until her follow-up next week.
I just wanted you to know what a great experience we had and what a caring and fantastic nurse Terese was to us.
