Our dad was transferred to CCU after nephrostomy tubes were placed. He became septic and could not maintain a life-sustaining B/P. Tasha was informed prior to transfer and Dr. M. was present and inserted a central line. Medications were started, labs were drawn, and Tasha never forgot us. I came to dad's room after line placement and Tasha introduced herself and explained what was happening as she worked. She encouraged me to ask any questions I might have and asked if I was okay and if I was concerned about Dad's comfort. She was efficient, safe, concerned, respectful, compassionate and timely. This care continued throughout Dad's stay.
He is our father, we always want the best for him. We have never left him alone when in a hospital but this time we felt he was in great hands and we were able to leave and rest at night. So thankful.
