Taryn was nominated by a colleague for showing consistent, excellent care and compassion towards the Veterans she serves. Taryn keeps long-sleeved t-shirts in her car for a Veteran who is frequently admitted. She knows he gets cold during his stay, so she is always prepared to make his visit as pleasant as possible. On one occasion she saw a Veteran well known to her walking down the street in dark, ill-fitting clothing. She stopped and got him better fitting clothing and a bright colored shirt to make him more noticeable to cars passing by. Taryn is committed to serving Veterans while at the VA and also in the community. We are honored to have such a caring, supportive nurse! Thank you for all you do, Taryn!
