The night that Stephanie was assigned to my son was a very stressful and scary night. Not only for my 15 month old but for me as well. See my son had just had a tracheostomy surgery and everything was new and un-familiar to us about this and he wasn't doing well with it. All I could do was cry and panic every time he would stop breathing. Then Stephanie took over for the night shift. Instantly she came right in and treated me and my son with the greatest respect. The way she handled his episodes of not breathing and turning blue was amazing, but not only did she handle him but she was able to keep me calm. She made me feel as though everything was going to be fine and in her hands he was going to be %100 safe. She stayed in the room with him all night and never left his side. If it wasn't for her we would not have made it through the night. He is still here with me because of her. He is now smiling and laughing. I feel that nothing I could ever do for Stephanie would ever repay her for what she had done for us.
