Ms. Gordon has been instrumental in the development ofservices for the highly complex population of patients and their caregivers dealing with a traumatic injury. She coordinates care both within the medical center and the region, serves on national workgroups, and presented at national conferences to disseminate best practices based on her knowledge, experience, and research and serves as a subject matter expert to others in the field. She works diligently with other services and programs to ensure that the complex veterans she works with receive seamless care,coordinates appointments between multiple disciplines and multiple facilities.She is the frequent recipient ofcompliments from both staff and patients for her high level of compassionate care.
