Sharon was recognized by many of her patients and their family members for her caring and compassion on a daily basis. One patient described her as a nurse that you know is kind and caring the moment you see them. Sharon sits with her patients and ensures that they understand their care and medications, she answers their questions to make them feel comfortable. Another patient was so grateful for her helping him understand his medications and how she treated him with such respect and dignity. He said, "her friendly attitude and comforting nature helped me more than any medication could". A family member wrote to describe the wonderful care that Sharon delivered to his father. He said that Sharon worked with the family to make sure they felt good with the care of their father, explaining everything to them in a way that made them feel respected.
