We were on vacation from Ohio planning to go to Coeur d'Alene, South Dakota, Oregon, and down the coast. When B became ill with pancreatitis in Sheridan, WY. He was transported to Billings by ambulance. Nurse Shannon was one of our first nurses and she was with us for 5 days. Shannon has a passion for attending to and caring for patients. She always entered with a smile.

I was treated amazingly by all staff nurses and doctors with the utmost respect and kindness. I was brought in with severe pancreatitis and these angels of mercy nursed me back to health after 4 days in agony. The doctor told us to stop our vacation and return home, which broke my heart and spirit. My wife finally got time off after 30 years of teaching and this was supposed to be an epic vacation. To be told that we had to go home was devastating. I was mean and rude these last few days but Shannon still treated us like family. Shannon stood out as a very compassionate nurse. She went out of her way above and beyond.
