When Sarah first arrived at Saddleback Memorial Care Center she made friends right away with the entire staff. Her hard work, knowledge, and dedication are clearly seen on the floor with the amazing care and compassion she gives to her patients. I am always hearing compliments from patients about Sarah. She is constantly there to assist her co-workers and rarely will say no to their needs. Sarah's work ethic is very admirable; she does not call in sick and is never late. She is a wonderful patient advocate, always educating them and speaking up for them as needed. An example of her team work would be the day Sarah was told by the scheduler/charge RN ahead of time that she did not have to come in to work due to a mistake on the schedule and that someone else was coming in instead. Well due to the abundance of sick calls that day, Sarah received a call from us and she was there ready to work within an hour, even though she had already made plans for the day off. Sarah is often a break nurse and while you are away on lunch she goes above and beyond to get all items done on your list.
Sarah is very enthusiastic about her work environment and always lifting her coworker's spirits. She had only been at our ED a couple of months and was already planning someone's baby shower. And not just one shower, she has made other occasions special for us, including wanting to make dinners for family members of co-workers who have had a death in their family. Sarah is an extremely genuine and sincere person and Nurse.
