I am going to start off saying that we have a lot of amazing nurses here at SBLFCH. There is one that stands out the most to me; Sara Frailey. Sara fills in wherever she is needed. Sara is a very compassionate and very caring nurse. She takes the time to get to know her patients on a personal level more than just reading their chart or medical records. Sara cares enough to listen to the patient and asks them if she can do anything else for them, other than what's required of her.
I have personally witnessed Sara in action; she seems to have a certain kind of magic about her. I witnessed her talking to a patient and she knew that the patient had no one and had nothing, no money and no way home. Sara took action and called a cab and paid for it. Because of her and the kind of person she is, she wouldn't want to be recognized for her actions. I would say she is a FRED.
Other wonderful qualities about her, she is very caring and is a very exceptional nurse. She takes her position as a nurse very seriously. We are very lucky to have such an amazing person working for us.
