Sandy is such a hard worker and very compassionate. We have a patient who has been with Fawcett for 5 months. This patient, while improving, was extremely sick for a long time and consequently, has been in ICU most of the time. The patient has not had a shower in 5 months but has only been able to have bed baths. Sandy knew how much it would mean to the patient to give her a shower and arranged for it. She organized with the Rehab Center to have the shower available and she coordinated with the bedside nurse to make it happen. What is even more extraordinary is that the patient is in 4ICU, not 3ICU where Sandy is. She felt so strongly to make this happen for the patient that she also coordinated with 4ICU charge nurse. I am very proud of Sandy and to say that I am part of the Fawcett team!
