Ryan was excellent in caring for our family member during a very difficult time of adjusting her medication. She was very agitated. He was compassionate and professional with her. We really appreciated his concern.

...

Ryan is an exceptional nurse! He not only showed compassion to my father but also a genuine interest for my mother and my well-being. He explained everything in terms we could understand regarding all medical issues. Ryan would check on the status of my dad even when he was assigned to another patient. Without a doubt, Ryan deserves the "DAISY Award" for always going above and beyond in his duties. He is one of the best nurses ever!

...

Ryan is a "take charge" person not only for the patient but also for the patient's family. His nursing skills are exemplary! His communication skills are outstanding. Ryan was able to get my husband up in a chair without a complaint about the entire process or the length of time he sat. He showed kindness, patience, compassion and caring. He took care of me, too. He was constantly making sure my legs were elevated when I sat, being sure I was drinking enough water and finding my way around the hospital. Ryan truly exemplifies the meaning of the word nurse!

...

Ryan is an extraordinary nurse. He goes way beyond what a nurse does. He watches everything that has to do with the body. Ryan's compassion goes beyond the call of duty. His nursing skills gave me such comfort to know my mother was in wonderful hands. He explained everything about my mother's care. He always talked to my mother and let her know what he was doing. He gave her dignity on all levels of care he was providing. He was an extension of the doctor. Ryan is the most wonderful nurse! All nurses can learn from him. He is a teacher, healer, comforter, and an awesome human being. May God always allow him to keep his wonderful spirit. He is such a giving person. On an "extraordinary nurse" scale of 1 to 100, Ryan would be a 150! He deserves this award.
