A patient came into the hospital, who has a heart and stroke history. He was in pain, frustrated, and scared. There are times when that frustration and fear has to come out. When you get a nurse that comes in with empathy and understanding and treats you like he knows you're sick, he knows you are in pain and he cares, this nurse is definitely a gold star.
This patient was my son. To see him in this condition tears my heart out. Ron showed compassion and did not treat my son like a pill popper or pain med seeker. He understood. Thank you, Ron, for your compassion.

I came in as a stroke patient. Ron treated me with respect and took care of my every need. He is a triple A+ nurse!

My husband was admitted 15 days ago. He was so very sick. He didn't really know how sick he was because he was running a very high fever. Ron gave compassionate care not only to my husband but to myself and the rest of the family. Ron was very understanding, fulfilled all my husband's needs, and was always there at just the right time and we never had to call. I would get upset and Ron knew just the words to say and when to say them and I would calm down. He is kind, loving, and caring. I know my husband had a very special nurse. NEA Hospital should be very glad to have him work here. I want to thank him for that very special care for those days he worked with my husband. The night my husband came here at NEA, Ron was an angel from God!
