Becca Woods was my nurse in CVICU. I came in on Thursday on a vent and on Friday she took me off the vent. The first thing I saw was the most loving and caring nurse that I know. While getting off the vent, the thing I remember were the eyes of this precious nurse. (Being a nurse myself for 21 years) I felt the warmth and concern in her eyes. She is the greatest, most precious, special angel to me. She also asked if she could be my nurse after surgery. I know God put her there for me because I was in a life or death situation. After a CAB x 2 I went back to the unit. When I woke up on the vent, there were my very special, angel nurse's eyes. I knew I would be OK. She needs to be recognized for the love and care she gives as a nurse. You do have a special angel in your unit. She is great and wonderful to everyone. She kept my family up to date on everything.
