Rajee has been known to us for more than two years but her drive for excellence and improvement is what sets her apart. She joined KFSH&RC as a critical care nurse in MICU-C in 2014 and has proved her ability to progress in a reasonable short of time. Rajee has a drive for innovation and was nominated to champion our journey into Beacon Status Recognition. A role which she took involving other team members to get the paperwork completed and submitted for approval.
During our Annual Critical Care Recognition Day, Rajee received an award for the BEDSIDE NURSE OF THE YEAR (MICU-C) - 2016. Her success sterns from her confidence and ability to rise above challenging situations yet maintain integrity and professionalism.
Rajee has been actively involved in some PI projects on the unit such as Pressure Ulcer team member, and UBC member as secretary and taken on a leadership role as unit charge nurse. She is known for her professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills committed to promoting the Mission, Vision, and Values of Nursing in this Organization.
Rajee is well-liked by her colleagues, kind, consistently offering valuable help and information to colleagues and has received recommendations by patient's family members. She also inspires others to deliver excellent patient care. She is a strong advocate for both staff and patients alike.
One nurse from other floors mentioned that "I did not work with her personally but I was one of the facilitators during the pressure injury survey last December and she was one of the surveyors. I have seen the enthusiasm when she was surveying the patients and once she has completed in her area she was asking to help others in DEM. I have also noticed her professionalism and empathy when she comes to the units during the RRT which is remarkable."
I would like to say that she is one of the excellent staffs who care the patient and family holistically.
It is a great pleasure to have Rajee as a dedicated colleague and I know she deserves this DAISY Award.
