I would like to acknowledge Ms. Raj Dhamija’s vital role in the OIF/OEF Post-Deployment Clinic.  She is an absolute necessity as well as an asset to the functioning of the clinic.  She played a vital role in the establishment of the clinic and is always improving the functioning of the clinic.  I believe things would NOT run as smoothly if she were not here.   She is a tremendous help to me clinically and I depend of her judgment.  Working with her on a daily basis is an absolute pleasure and she is the essence of our team.  She works great with the team and employs a team approach.

Ms. Dhamija also has outstanding performance. She has initiative and is very comprehensive in her holistic assessments.   Ms. Dhamija ensures that all the needs and requests of the patient are addressed before leaving the clinic.  In addition, she has a great demeanor with patients and has a way of making them feel comfortable and welcomed.  This special population of young Veterans, need direction and I feel that Ms. Dhamija gives them that direction that they so desperately need.   She has compassion for our patients that goes above and beyond the call of duty.  She enhances the chances for successful transition of OIF/OEF veterans and I strongly believe she has the best skills as an RN, as well as the best personality to suit this population of patients.

I highly recommend Ms. Dhamija for any recognition or honor.  Her skills and compassion are outstanding and deserve recognition.
