Rachel made sure I was warm and that I had everything I needed. She did an outstanding job and made me feel like I was not alone.
She treated me like a friend, not just a patient; her kindness went a long way with me. As soon as I was back from the ICU, she made sure I was warm and that I had everything I needed. She did an outstanding job and made me feel like I was not alone. She made sure I had everything I needed to shower and every time I took a shower she would change my bedding, I can't tell you how good it made me feel. Get this, my son sent me these huge amazing flowers so when I went to surgery they put me in a different room, I asked many ladies where were my flowers and no one knew. She came in and I was crying because those flowers came a long way, you see my son is in the Army and he had to make many phone calls to get my favorite flowers; so Rachel said calm down, the more you cry the more your pain will hurt. She said I'm going on break and I will look for them, the flowers were missing for 2 days and someone came to my door and said are you Ms. G and I said yes, please come in and (Boom) she found the flowers. I was so happy, I wish I could hug her but due to the virus we did not. She made the rest of my stay so amazing. Thanks, Rachel for going over and beyond for little old me. I will never forget you, she even told me how to dry them and how to hang them upside down. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
