Rachael was amazing from the first day she cared for A. She was very knowledgeable and answered my care questions honestly and gave me help in knowing what to anticipate with A's care. It was a great comfort to discuss what might be coming next based on other cardiac patients' experiences. She was incredibly sweet and patient with A and showed me some of the many ways to soothe her. Rachael helped us with the huge milestone of 1. leaving the room and 2. leaving the floor. She helped A to see the Eagles twice and honestly, it was more emotional for me to just be outside of the 4 walls of A's room. When I did my 24 hours of care with A, Rachael was extremely patient and thorough in her training. She created a spreadsheet of when to give meds and after I took notes on the spreadsheet, she revised it and typed it up again so I had a good copy. She has always gone above and beyond to make sure that A is well taken care of and that I feel comfortable with A's care. She demonstrated excellent communication and leadership skills on so many occasions.
