Rachael is a true example of what it means to be a nurse from the moment she worked on her shift she made my husband and I feel right at home like we have been friends our entire lives.
I shared with her how traumatic my first childbirth experience was for me. She could've done what most healthcare professionals do and say I'm sure this will be different but instead she made sure it was different. Anything in her control was purposeful, thoughtful, and helpful towards my childbirth experience. This go around she not only showed me the skills needed to be a good nurse but character traits that in my opinion make or break a nurse. She has every ounce of empathy it takes to be an exceptional nurse and then some she healed a family from prior trauma.
She forever changed our family and the anxieties we had attached to childbirth. She truly took care of the whole patient both physically, emotionally, and mentally.
