In one morning, a patient with hard of hearing was processing the preparation of the operation. Nurse Hong took off her mask off, get the pen and paper and invited the patient and her family into a private room. Nurse Hong explained the pre-OP guidance with a clear and slowly communication pattern so the patient and her family can read Nurse Hong's lips. Moreover, Nurse Hong also used the pen and paper, body language to enhance the entire communication which made the patient and her family less stressed, comforted and secured about this operation experience.
