When I arrived at my room after leaving the ER, a couple of CNAs and a few other people of the hospital staff were in there and there was a sense of urgency in the air. Then comes Nellie with the precision and speed of an android, she rapidly acquired information from everybody in the room to get me situated for my testing and procedure while showing a sense of candor, seriousness, and professionalism.

Nellie is the epitome of an extraordinary nurse. Every single day she works, she treats each one of her patients like her own family member. Nellie has received numerous compliments from her patients and their family members. She has been referred to as 'an angel with hidden wings'. Watching Nellie as she cares for her patients leaves me in awe for the compassion and utmost dignity she treats them with. Never do you hear her complain, no matter how busy or overwhelmed she may be. As her co-worker, I am continuously inspired by Nellie. She is a true DAISY, representing commitment, compassion, professionalism, and enthusiasm as a nurse at Frye. A true delight and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, I am proud to work alongside Nellie.
