When I came in I was coming in for detox. Nathaniel put up with my attitude being negative. He is thorough and friendly and has good insight when I asked for advice.
***
Nathaniel does a super job in nursing and caring for his patients. He does his job and does it with heart.Nathaniel went above and beyond the line of duty.Iwish there were more like him.
***
Nathaniel demonstrated superior nursing care by going above and beyond his duties and responsibilities. Beneath his slightly intimidating demeanor is a nurse that is truly compassionate, empathetic, and caring. He actually listens and doesn't just hear when confronted with concerns. In today's world and society, it's rare to find someone who "puts and gives" all of themselves into their work like Nathaniel does. I'm sure to others my issues seemed little or irrelevant but not to me. Nathaniel understood and sensed that, and it showed with his kindness, concern, and willingness to listen.Nathaniel inspired me to go back to school to become a nurse myself to help others like he helped me. I can't thank Nathaniel enough for believing in me, caring for me, and mostly for not giving up on me. MaineGeneral Medical Center is extremely fortunate to have such a nurse as Nathaniel working for them, especially the mental health unit.
***
Nathaniel provides an exceptional level of care to our patients and always contributes to a healthy, team-oriented work environment for his colleagues. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is a great nurse to havefora buddy. Even on the most challenging of days, he will announce "I love my job!"
Whether he is working on 3 South or in the Emergency Department Behavioral Health Suite, he is a strong patient advocate and strives to give exceptional care to each patient. He has a passion for caring for both the medical as well as the mental health needs of our patient population. He seeks out opportunities to grow in his nursing skills.
