On behalf of TL and his loved ones, we would like to express our gratitude to one of your nurses. Natashia Houfek is a very special, caring, and devoted nurse, who represents the true meaning of being a nurse, even when she's not working.

Last Sunday, TL went to Walmart in South Sioux City, Nebraska, as he came out of the restroom, he fell to the floor face first, Natashia didn't hesitate to assist him, she asked for help to roll him over, and began CPR, she would get a pulse, and then it would stop, they continued CPR until the paramedics could get there and take over. Without her assistance he probably would not have survived.

We feel Natashia was TL's angel sent from Heaven and that she went above and beyond what anyone would expect her to do, to save his life. The other nurses, who worked on TL in your intensive care unit, also gave him excellent care, and assisted us in finding out who had helped him, so we could thank her personally.

Later Natashia came down to TL's room to see us, and to see how he was, and was very happy he was improving. We were able to thank her, but we don't feel simply thanking her is enough to show our appreciation, and we're hoping she could receive recognition with the DAISY Award.

TL had to received a pace maker and is being treated for pneumonia, but is improving very well. We're writing this at his request, as he would like to express his thanks in writing.
