Najah has gained a strong clinical experience in varied organizations in Jordan through which she developed her leadership capabilities, clinical performance, quality of care, determination, and staff empowerment.
Despite the fact that Najah works under immense pressure as a senior nurse manager in Adult ICU, she is highly committed to quality improvement; contributes significantly in many hospital's initiatives, supported the Lean Project establishment in Nursing Department and lead one of the excellent interdisciplinary Lean projects that was concerned on cost management and reducing fiscal loss in critical care units. In addition, Najah was selected by the Jordan Nurse and Midwives Council (JNMC) to join its Scientific Committee membership.
Throughout a work day in ICU, Najah provides ongoing support to her team members, not only the nursing team but also the intensivists, respiratory therapists, ancillary services members and most importantly, she is compassionate to her patients, families, and relatives.
She is truly respected as a reliable role model. Amidst the complexity and criticality of the ICU environment and parallel with practice challenges, she trained, mentored and guided many successors for potential nurse leaders in the ICU and other nursing services.
Finally, "Najah" her name in Arabic means "success", and for many years of her tenure at King Hussein Cancer Center, we perceived how she is a success, motivated, and trusted leader to her staff, colleagues, patients, their families, and the organization.
