My 89-year-old father was admitted to the ICU and when I arrived, he had been diagnosed with a brain bleed, vision loss, and a possible Baker's cyst. My father loves classical music. Since he can't see as much and is confined to his bed, music makes him happy. I had him listening to music on my I-phone, but I would have to be leaving soon.
Molly went all over looking for a CD player with no luck, but she would not give up until she found one. But then there were no batteries! Of course, Molly was relentless. My bed-ridden Dad was able to experience joy, despite being bedridden, with vision loss, listening to classical music and moving his head to the music.
